Overview

AlloNK1 is an allogeneic natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by the Singapore General Hospital for the treatment of high-risk, advanced-stage nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). The therapy consists of NK cells that are enriched and expanded ex vivo from the peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of healthy donors within a GMP-compliant facility. AlloNK1 is designed to enhance the host's anti-tumor immune response, particularly in patients with EBV-associated NPC who exhibit detectable plasma EBV-DNA following standard treatment. In clinical settings, it is administered as an intravenous infusion in combination with concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CRT) to target residual disease and reduce the risk of recurrence.
