Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AlloRx is an allogeneic, umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy developed by AlloSource. It is designed to leverage the innate immunomodulatory and regenerative properties of MSCs to treat inflammatory and tissue-damaging conditions. The therapeutic mechanism involves the secretion of paracrine factors—including cytokines, chemokines, and extracellular vesicles—that modulate the activity of immune cells such as T-cells and macrophages, thereby reducing systemic inflammation and promoting tissue healing. AlloRx has been investigated in clinical settings for indications including COVID-19-related acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and chronic wounds like diabetic foot ulcers.
