AlloStim is an investigational, off-the-shelf, non-genetically manipulated living cell immunotherapy composed of ex-vivo differentiated and expanded Th1-like T cells derived from healthy unrelated donors[1][2][5]. These intentionally mismatched allogeneic cells are activated prior to infusion and designed to be rejected upon administration. The rejection process triggers a cascade of immune events in the patient’s own immune system, promoting recognition and destruction of tumor cells by modulating and remodeling host immunity[3][8]. Unlike conventional cell therapies that directly kill tumors, AlloStim acts as an immunostimulant adjuvant—its presence provokes danger signals that recruit the patient’s own immune response against cancer or pathogens. It is being developed primarily for solid tumors such as metastatic colorectal cancer and liver cancer, often in combination with other modalities like cryoablation or checkpoint inhibitors[2][5].
