**AlloVax** is an investigational, individualized therapeutic cancer vaccine composed of two active components: autologous chaperone-rich cell lysate derived from a patient's tumor, which supplies tumor-associated antigens including heat-shock-protein-chaperoned neoantigens, and AlloStim, an allogeneic immune-cell product used as the immunostimulatory component. The regimen is intended to generate inflammatory alloimmune responses and promote antigen-specific adaptive antitumor immunity, including tumor-reactive cellular immunity. AlloVax has been evaluated in recurrent or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck and in advanced hepatocellular carcinoma; it is not an approved therapy.
