ALLOY

ALLOY is a proprietary vaccine platform developed by Syntiron that utilizes conserved bacterial iron receptor proteins as antigens. These proteins are essential for bacterial survival and pathogenesis, as they facilitate the acquisition of iron from the host environment. By targeting these highly conserved receptors, the ALLOY platform aims to provide broad-spectrum protection against various bacterial pathogens, including Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae (including ESBL-producing strains), Staphylococcus aureus (including MRSA), and Salmonella. The platform's lead programs are currently in preclinical development for indications such as chronic recurrent urinary tract infections (UTI), severe invasive infections, sepsis, pneumonia, and typhoid fever.
