Overview
Alluna is a non-prescription herbal sleep aid containing a fixed combination of valerian root extract (*Valeriana officinalis*) and hop cone extract (*Humulus lupulus*). Originally introduced by GSK, it is indicated for the treatment of restlessness, nervous sleep disorders, and insomnia in adults and adolescents aged 12 and older. Unlike many synthetic sedatives, Alluna is marketed as non-habit forming and supports the body's natural sleep architecture without suppressing REM or delta-stage sleep.
