Overview

ALN-6400 is an investigational small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic developed by Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. It is designed to target liver-derived plasminogen via RNA interference, aiming to act as a universal hemostatic agent for the treatment of bleeding disorders without increasing the risk of thrombosis. The drug leverages Alnylam's proprietary RNAi technology platform and represents a new molecular entity in clinical development. As of early 2025, ALN-6400 has completed Phase I trials in healthy volunteers and is expected to enter Phase II studies for bleeding disorders later in 2025[1][2][8].
