alomfilimab

Alomfilimab (KY1044) is a fully human monoclonal antibody designed to target the Inducible T-cell CO-stimulator (ICOS). Originally developed by Kymab and later acquired by Sanofi, alomfilimab acts as an ICOS agonist, aiming to enhance the anti-tumor immune response by stimulating ICOS-expressing T cells, particularly effector T cells, while potentially depleting ICOS-high regulatory T cells (Tregs) within the tumor microenvironment. This dual mechanism is intended to shift the immune balance toward an active anti-tumor state. Alomfilimab is being investigated as a monotherapy and in combination with PD-L1 inhibitors, such as atezolizumab, for the treatment of various advanced solid tumors, including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, and other malignancies.
