Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Alova is an allogeneic cell therapy developed by Creative Medical Technology Holdings, Inc., utilizing the proprietary AlloStem™ platform for the treatment of infertility resulting from premature ovarian failure (POF). The therapy is composed of Perinatal Tissue Derived Cells (PTDCs), which are scalable, "universal" donor cells that do not require patient immunosuppression. Alova aims to restore ovarian function through a multi-faceted regenerative approach, including balancing inflammatory cytokines, promoting folliculogenesis, and supporting angiogenesis within the ovarian microenvironment. It is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development and serves as an allogeneic complement to the company's autologous OvaStem® program.
