A combination of the **small molecule** PI3Kα inhibitor **alpelisib** and the **monoclonal antibody** **cetuximab** is under investigation, primarily for recurrent or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (HNSCC), especially in patients with resistance to prior cetuximab therapy.
