ALPP CAR-T is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy targeting placental alkaline phosphatase (ALPP), intended for the treatment of ALPP-positive solid tumors such as metastatic ovarian and endometrial cancers. The therapy involves engineering a patient's own T cells to express a synthetic CAR recognizing the ALPP antigen, thereby directing immune cytotoxicity specifically against tumor cells expressing ALPP. Preclinical studies demonstrated efficacy, and early clinical-phase trials have shown evidence of tumor regression and partial response in some patients. The therapy is in early clinical development by TCRCure Biopharma, using the company's ASPIRE-T platform, and is currently being tested in solid tumors, particularly metastatic and late-stage disease[1][4][7].
