ALT-702

ALT-702 is a targeted tumor immunostimulant designed to act locally within tumors to reverse local immunosuppression and stimulate systemic antitumor immune responses. It is based on a synthetic peptide conjugate technology platform that concentrates immunostimulants within the tumor, thereby enhancing immune activation while reducing the risk of systemic inflammation. Mechanistically, ALT-702 acts as an agonist of Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) and Toll-like receptor 8 (TLR8), inducing innate and adaptive immune responses. ALT-702 has demonstrated preclinical efficacy in models of solid tumors, with regression observed in both directly injected and distal (non-injected) tumors. It is intended for use as monotherapy or in combination with other immuno-oncology agents such as immune checkpoint inhibitors or oncolytic viruses.
