Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**ALTO-102** was an investigational proprietary combination medicine developed by Alto Neuroscience to modulate the cyclic adenosine monophosphate signaling pathway, a neurobiological pathway implicated in cognition, memory, and mood. It was evaluated in a randomized, placebo-controlled, four-way crossover Phase 1 human brain-mechanism study in 41 healthy adults using low doses of its undisclosed component drugs. ALTO-102 did not demonstrate pharmacodynamic effects on the behavioral, event-related potential, or subjective-response measures evaluated, and Alto did not advance it alongside the more active ALTO-103 and ALTO-104 combinations.
