Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**ALTO-103** is an investigational proprietary fixed-dose combination of low-dose small molecules developed by Alto Neuroscience. It was designed using a synergistic-pharmacology approach to converge on the cyclic adenosine monophosphate signaling pathway, with the aim of improving cognitive, attentional, executive-function, motivational-salience, and alertness measures relevant to neuropsychiatric disorders. In a Phase 1 human brain-mechanism study, ALTO-103 showed significant pharmacodynamic effects versus placebo and was reported to be well tolerated; its individual active components and direct molecular targets have not been publicly disclosed.
