Altrazeal Silver

Altrazeal Silver is a silver-containing variant of the Altrazeal transforming powder dressing, a methacrylate-based nanoparticle wound dressing engineered to hydrate and aggregate into a conforming, oxygen-permeable matrix that provides a moist wound environment, manages exudate, and forms a physical barrier against external microorganisms to support granulation and re-epithelialization. Building on the base Altrazeal technology, the Silver formulation incorporates topical silver as an antimicrobial agent to reduce bioburden in exuding wounds while maintaining extended wear time and atraumatic dressing changes.
