Overview

TDゼット液/ゼリー (TD Zette Liquid/Jelly) is a local hemostatic combination drug developed by Bee Brand Medico Dental and manufactured by Toyo Pharmaceutical. It is approved in Japan for the control of minor bleeding in the oral cavity during dental procedures, such as crown preparation, cavity preparation, gingival retraction, and gingival shaping. The drug is formulated as a liquid or a jelly and contains three active ingredients: aluminum chloride (25%), which acts as an astringent to coagulate tissue proteins and constrict local blood vessels to stop bleeding; cetylpyridinium chloride (0.5%), an antiseptic that prevents infection; and lidocaine (5.25%), a local anesthetic that suppresses pain at the application site.
