Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Kremil Gel is an approved antacid and anti-flatulence oral suspension developed and manufactured by United International Pharma. It is a combination product containing aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone. The aluminum and magnesium hydroxides function as antacids by neutralizing gastric hydrochloric acid, thereby increasing the pH of the stomach and relieving symptoms of acid-related disorders such as gastritis, peptic ulcers, and heartburn. Simethicone acts as a surfactant that reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract, facilitating their coalescence and expulsion to relieve bloating and flatulence. It is indicated for the treatment of hyperacidity and associated symptoms, including gastric and duodenal ulcers, esophagitis, and indigestion.
