ALVX-A is a selective small-molecule inhibitor of **PKMYT1** (Protein kinase membrane-associated tyrosine- and threonine-specific 1), a serine/threonine protein kinase that acts as a critical regulator of the cell cycle. PKMYT1 is particularly important in cancer cells where it serves a protective role, and its inhibition is especially lethal in tumors with **CCNE1 amplification**. Developed by **Alivexis** using their ModBind™ platform and intelligent supercomputing capabilities in collaboration with **Satyarx Pharma Innovations**, ALVX-A is designed to selectively target PKMYT1 while sparing related kinases like WEE1. This selectivity is intended to provide a wider therapeutic window and improved safety compared to pan-inhibitors. The program is currently in the final preclinical stages, positioned for both monotherapy and combination regimens in various biomarker-identified cancer types.
