Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ALY-130 is a preclinical-stage topical therapeutic candidate being developed by Alys Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of atopic dermatitis. The drug utilizes a small interfering RNA (siRNA) lipid conjugate designed to silence specific genes involved in the pathogenesis of inflammatory skin disease. It is formulated using a proprietary Cationic Micelle-based Aqueous Particle (CMAP) suspension gel technology, which is intended to enhance the delivery and penetration of the siRNA into the skin layers. ALY-130 originated from the pipeline of Granular Therapeutics, which became a subsidiary of Alys Pharmaceuticals upon the latter's formation in early 2024.
