ALY-901

ALY-901 is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic candidate being developed by Alys Pharmaceuticals (incorporating the pipeline of Aldena Therapeutics) for the treatment of atopic dermatitis. The drug is designed to specifically target and silence the expression of Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin (TSLP), an epithelial-derived cytokine that acts as a master regulator of type 2 immune responses. TSLP plays a critical role in the initiation and persistence of the inflammatory cascade characteristic of atopic dermatitis and is a key driver of the 'atopic march.' ALY-901 utilizes a proprietary dermal delivery platform designed to enable stable and efficient penetration of the siRNA into the skin, allowing for localized, long-acting inhibition of the target cytokine with minimal systemic exposure.
