Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Alyostal is a biologic product consisting of standardized allergen extracts, developed by Stallergenes for allergen immunotherapy and diagnostic skin testing. It contains various allergens, such as dust mite allergens (Dermatophagoides farinae and Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus) and bee venom, and is available in different formulations like Alyostal Aqueux (aqueous solution) and Alyostal Prick (for skin prick tests). The product is used for both the diagnosis and treatment of IgE-mediated allergic conditions. Administration is through subcutaneous immunotherapy to desensitize patients or via skin prick testing to identify specific allergies based on skin reactivity.
