Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Alyra TLR4 intrauterine product is a neuroimmune-modifying therapeutic being developed by Alyra Biotech (formerly referred to as Alynea) for the treatment of chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis-related symptoms. The product is designed for intrauterine administration and functions by targeting and inhibiting Toll-Like Receptor 4 (TLR4) activation within the uterus. By reducing TLR4-mediated immune system activation, the therapy aims to lessen neuroimmune-driven pelvic pain, severe dysmenorrhoea, and systemic endometriosis-related symptoms such as fatigue, mood changes, and poor sleep. This localized approach is intended to provide targeted relief while minimizing systemic side effects.
