Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AM-168 is a fully human monoclonal antibody developed by AcadeMab Biomedical Inc. that targets the HER3 (ErbB3) receptor. It acts as a HER3 antagonist by blocking the binding of the ligand heregulin (HRG) to the receptor, thereby inhibiting the HER3 signaling pathway. HER3 is often overexpressed or co-activated in various cancers, contributing to tumor growth and resistance to other HER-family targeted therapies. AM-168 is currently in the discovery stage for potential application in cancer treatment.
