AM-DV-01

AM-DV-01 is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed by AcadeMab for the treatment and prevention of Dengue virus infection. It is engineered to target a highly conserved epitope on the Dengue virus envelope (E) protein, providing broad-spectrum neutralization across all four serotypes (DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, and DENV-4). A critical feature of AM-DV-01 is its design to be "ADE-free," meaning it minimizes or eliminates Antibody-Dependent Enhancement (ADE). ADE is a significant complication in dengue pathology where non-neutralizing antibodies facilitate viral entry into Fc-receptor-bearing cells, potentially exacerbating the infection and leading to severe conditions like Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) or Dengue Shock Syndrome (DSS). By neutralizing the virus and blocking cellular attachment without triggering ADE, AM-DV-01 aims to reduce viral load and improve clinical outcomes in patients with acute dengue.
