AM105 is a bispecific antibody drug candidate developed by **AbClon**, a South Korean biotechnology company. It is engineered using AbClon's proprietary **AffiMab** platform technology. AM105 is designed as an immunotherapy that simultaneously targets the **Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR)** and **4-1BB** (also known as CD137 or Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 9). The drug's mechanism of action is intended to selectively activate T cells within the tumor microenvironment; 4-1BB-mediated co-stimulation is triggered only when the antibody is cross-linked by binding to EGFR-overexpressing cancer cells. This localized immune activation aims to enhance anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing the systemic toxicities typically associated with systemic 4-1BB agonism. AM105 is part of a pipeline of novel epitope antibodies and bispecific therapeutics intended for the treatment of various cancers.
