Overview

AM109 is a bispecific antibody therapeutic developed by AbClon for the treatment of intractable prostate cancer. Utilizing AbClon's proprietary AffiMab platform technology, AM109 is designed to simultaneously target Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) on tumor cells and the costimulatory molecule 4-1BB (CD137) on T-cells. This dual-targeting approach is intended to induce T-cell activation specifically within the tumor microenvironment where PSMA is present, potentially enhancing efficacy while minimizing systemic immune-related adverse effects. The project was selected for the Korea Drug Development Fund (KDDF) national project in 2023 to support its advancement toward clinical trials.
