Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AM1101 is an intra-articular injectable peptidomimetic therapeutic developed by Amplicore for the treatment of osteoarthritis (OA) and cartilage damage. The drug is a synthetic peptidomimetic designed to bind specifically to exposed collagen within the joint space. By localizing to damaged cartilage, AM1101 aims to facilitate the repair of the extracellular matrix and promote the regeneration of cartilage tissue, potentially slowing the progression of degenerative musculoskeletal disorders. It is intended as a disease-modifying treatment to improve joint function and alleviate pain by addressing the underlying structural damage. AM1101 is the lead candidate in Amplicore's pipeline for musculoskeletal regeneration.
