Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AMATUSSiN is a medical device in the form of a syrup developed by Zakład Farmaceutyczny AMARA. It is designed to protect and moisturize the mucous membranes of the mouth, throat, vocal cords, and larynx. The syrup contains natural plant extracts, including wild mallow leaf extract (*Malva sylvestris*), Icelandic lichen extract (*Cetraria islandica*), and linden flower extract (*Tilia vulgaris*), along with sodium hyaluronate and xanthan gum. These ingredients form a protective film that coats the mucous membranes, relieving dryness, burning, and sore throat, while also soothing dry cough and hoarseness.
