AMB-066

AMB-066 is a potent monoclonal antibody that targets the colony stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R). It is being developed as a first-in-class therapy for patients with colorectal cancer (CRC) who have minimal residual disease (MRD), defined as the presence of circulating tumor DNA after curative-intent surgery and standard therapies, but without radiographic evidence of disease. The drug works by depleting pro-tumorigenic macrophages in the tumor microenvironment, thereby increasing pro-inflammatory macrophages and cytotoxic T-cells, which may help prevent recurrence and metastasis. AMB-066 has demonstrated safety in approximately 200 individuals across multiple clinical trials for various indications. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase 2a clinical trial for CRC MRD, conducted in partnership with MD Anderson Cancer Center[1][2][3][4][5][7].
