AMB401

AMB401 is a preclinical-stage cytotoxic payload platform developed by Aimed Bio in collaboration with GeneQuantum Healthcare. It is based on duocarmycin, a potent DNA-alkylating agent. Unlike traditional drug candidates, AMB401 is designed as a modular payload for use in antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) targeting various solid tumors. The mechanism of action involves the alkylation of DNA in the minor groove, leading to irreversible DNA damage and subsequent cell death in rapidly dividing cancer cells. As a platform payload, it is intended for integration into multiple therapeutic candidates rather than serving as a standalone drug.
