Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ambiotech (Ascension Medical Biotechnology) is developing a Bio-Pulsed Exosome therapy for the treatment of tinnitus and hearing loss. The therapy is based on the company's patented Bio-Pulsed technology, which activates stem cells to produce exosomes—extracellular vesicles that act as cell-to-cell messengers and deliver growth factors and anti-inflammatory agents. The mechanism of action involves supporting neural or cochlear repair and regeneration, though specific molecular targets have not been fully disclosed. Ambiotech's Bio-Pulsed technology adjusts stem cell activation methods to modify exosome gene profiles according to therapeutic needs, producing exosomes with high purity (up to 99.99%) for applications in regenerative medicine. The therapy is currently in the preclinical development stage.
