Overview

Ambrosia elatior allergen extract is a native biological allergen extract derived from the pollen of common ragweed (*Ambrosia elatior*), developed by LETI Pharma. It contains a mixture of ragweed pollen proteins, including major allergens such as Amb a 1, which possess IgE-binding capacity. The extract is primarily used for the diagnosis and treatment of IgE-mediated allergic conditions, such as allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, and allergic asthma. In clinical development, it has been investigated in Phase 2 biological standardization studies to determine the concentration required to induce a skin prick test wheal size equivalent to 10 mg/ml histamine hydrochloride, ensuring diagnostic accuracy and safety in sensitized patients.
