Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AMEOVA is a combination nutraceutical product developed by Adorshea Bioceutics, specifically formulated for the management of poor ovarian reserve (POR) and female infertility. The product typically contains a synergistic blend of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) in a sustained-release formulation, Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone), and melatonin. DHEA serves as a pro-hormone precursor for follicular steroidogenesis, which is thought to improve the follicular microenvironment and increase the number of recruitable follicles in women with diminished ovarian reserve. Coenzyme Q10 acts as an essential electron carrier in the mitochondrial respiratory chain, providing antioxidant protection and supporting oocyte bioenergetics. Melatonin further contributes to the antioxidant defense system within the pre-ovulatory follicle, protecting oocytes from oxidative stress-induced damage. AMEOVA is approved and marketed in India as a therapeutic supplement to improve pregnancy outcomes in assisted reproductive technology (ART) cycles.
