**AMF-1c-120** is a proprietary monoclonal antibody developed by Amorfix Life Sciences using the ProMIS discovery platform, which identifies antibodies targeting conformation-specific epitopes on misfolded proteins. It selectively binds to misfolded prion protein (PrP) on the surface of ovarian cancer cells, particularly ovarian clear cell carcinoma (OCCC), without binding normal cells. As an **antibody-drug conjugate (ADC)**, it is conjugated to urease (from jack beans), which metabolizes urea into hydroxide and ammonium ions, raising local pH and inducing cytotoxic effects specifically in tumors. Preclinical studies in ES-2 OCCC animal models demonstrated tumor-specific binding in vivo, significant inhibition of tumor growth, and proof-of-concept for targeted cancer therapy, addressing resistance to platinum-based chemotherapy in OCCC.[1][4][10]
