Overview

Aminopentamide is a parasympatholytic agent. It has been shown to have broncholytic effects. It was administered to patients in the form of anti-diarrhoeal tablets. Aminopentamide is also used as an internal standard in gas-chromatographic methods for the quantification of other drugs like disopyramide.
