Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Aminotrofic is a nutritional supplement and food for special medical purposes (FSMP) developed by Errekappa Euroterapici. It is formulated with a specific mixture of essential amino acids—including L-leucine, L-lysine, L-isoleucine, L-valine, L-threonine, L-cystine, L-histidine, L-phenylalanine, L-methionine, L-tyrosine, and L-tryptophan—and is enriched with vitamins B1 (thiamine) and B6 (pyridoxine). The product is designed to stimulate the synthesis of muscle, mitochondrial, and plasma proteins, particularly in patients suffering from muscle mass loss (sarcopenia) or protein malnutrition associated with acute and chronic pathologies. It is indicated for use in conditions such as chronic heart failure, COPD, diabetes, renal and hepatic insufficiency, and recovery from trauma or skin lesions, aiming to improve physical performance and muscle strength even in insulin-resistant states.
