Overview

**Amivantamab + cetrelimab** is an investigational combination therapy for cancer, currently studied primarily in metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Amivantamab is a fully human bispecific monoclonal antibody that targets both epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and mesenchymal-epithelial transition factor (MET), blocking their signaling and mediating antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC). Cetrelimab is a programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) checkpoint inhibitor monoclonal antibody, enhancing the immune response against tumor cells. The combination is designed to simultaneously inhibit oncogenic signaling and reinvigorate anti-tumor immune responses. Both agents are developed by Janssen, and combination studies are primarily in early clinical phases in NSCLC, particularly for tumors characterized by EGFR mutations. Clinical trial data indicate potential synergistic efficacy and modulation of tumor resistance pathways by dual targeting EGFR/MET and PD-1[1][4][7].
