Amnion chorion allograft membrane is a biological tissue scaffold derived from the human placenta, specifically the amnion and chorion layers. It is processed to maintain the structural integrity of the extracellular matrix and contains various growth factors (e.g., PDGF, TGF-β, FGF), cytokines, and specialized proteins that promote wound healing, reduce inflammation, and minimize scar formation.
