Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AmniPur is a patented amniotic membrane-based biological matrix and tissue preservation technology developed by PrimeCell Advanced Therapy and its spin-off BioHealing. It is used to manufacture Amnioderm and Amnioderm+, which are freeze-dehydrated human amniotic membrane allografts. The AmniPur technology preserves the essential biological and regenerative properties of the amniotic membrane, including growth factors and cytokines, while ensuring sterility and a long shelf-life at room temperature. It is designed to support wound healing and tissue repair by providing a biocompatible scaffold that promotes re-epithelialization, neovascularization, and anti-inflammatory effects. Amnioderm is utilized in the treatment of hard-to-heal chronic wounds (such as diabetic foot ulcers and venous ulcers), burns, and toxic epidermal necrolysis.
