Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AMP-001 (also known as IGN-AMP001) is an allogeneic micronized amniotic membrane product developed by IntegoGen. It is designed as an injectable regenerative therapy for the treatment of chronic inflammatory skin conditions, specifically hidradenitis suppurativa. The product consists of processed human amniotic membrane, which is rich in growth factors, cytokines, and extracellular matrix proteins that promote tissue repair and modulate inflammation. In clinical studies, it is administered via intralesional injection to target the underlying pathology of skin lesions by providing a biological scaffold and a reservoir of bioactive molecules to facilitate healing.
