AMP-410

AMP-410 is a novel, potential first-in-class bifunctional AND-Body therapeutic developed by Ampersand Biomedicines for the treatment of solid tumors. It uniquely combines two mechanisms of action in a single molecule: it blocks vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and allosterically activates 4-1BB signaling. Unlike traditional bispecific molecules, AMP-410’s design enables it to act specifically at the site of disease—primarily within the tumor microenvironment—thereby maximizing anti-tumor potency while minimizing systemic activity and toxicity. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that AMP-410 induces durable anti-tumor immunity in hard-to-treat cancers such as melanoma, colorectal cancer, and lung cancer. The drug reprograms the tumor microenvironment by enhancing both adaptive and innate immune responses, increasing immune cell infiltration into tumors, preventing T cell exhaustion, and leading to improved tolerability compared to other immunotherapies[1][2][3][4].
