**AMP cells** are a proprietary allogeneic cell therapy consisting of human amnion-derived multipotent progenitor cells isolated from placental amnion epithelial cells. They were developed by Stemnion and later associated with Noveome programs as the cellular source used to generate secretome-based products such as ST266. AMP cells are described as cytokine-secreting regenerative cells that produce a broad mixture of growth factors, cytokines, and other bioactive mediators thought to promote tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and support neuroprotection and wound healing. The therapeutic concept is primarily paracrine rather than target-specific receptor pharmacology, and published descriptions emphasize regenerative and immunomodulatory effects rather than a single defined molecular target. Preclinical and patent literature describe potential applications in wound healing, connective tissue injury, bone regeneration, transplantation tolerance, and ophthalmic or neurologic injury, but AMP cells themselves do not appear to be an approved marketed pharmaceutical product.
