AMP-CpG + EBV gp350 + EBVpoly (ELI-003) is an investigational protein subunit vaccine developed by Elicio Therapeutics to prevent or treat Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection and its associated conditions, including infectious mononucleosis, EBV-related cancers, and multiple sclerosis. The vaccine utilizes Elicio's proprietary Amphiphile (AMP) platform to deliver a lymph node-targeted adjuvant, AMP-CpG (a TLR9 agonist), alongside two key antigens: EBV gp350, which targets neutralizing antibodies and CD4+ T cells, and EBVpoly, a polyepitope protein containing 20 CD8+ T cell epitopes from both latent and lytic EBV antigens. This combination is designed to induce a comprehensive and durable immune response, encompassing both humoral and cellular (CD4+ and CD8+) immunity. Preclinical studies have demonstrated potent and durable immune responses maintained for over seven months.
