ampelopsis japonica

Ampelopsis japonica is a perennial climbing plant whose dried root (Ampelopsis Radix) has been used in traditional East Asian medicine for centuries. It is primarily utilized for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antitumor, and wound-healing properties[1][3][5]. The root contains several bioactive compounds including catechin, gallic acid, kaempferol, quercetin, resveratrol, epicatechin, and euscaphic acid[1][5].
