Amplivant

Amplivant is a proprietary adjuvant technology developed by ISA Pharmaceuticals, consisting of a molecularly optimized synthetic Toll-like receptor 1/2 (TLR1/2) ligand. It is designed to be covalently conjugated to synthetic long peptides (SLPs) to create highly potent therapeutic cancer vaccines. By targeting TLR1/2 receptors on immune cells such as dendritic cells, Amplivant enhances the processing and presentation of tumor antigens, significantly boosting T cell-mediated immune responses. In preclinical models, it has demonstrated the ability to enhance immune responses 10-100 fold compared to unconjugated peptides. Amplivant has been evaluated in Phase I clinical trials for HPV16-positive cancers and is being tested in combination with other vaccines, such as Modi-1, for various solid tumors including triple-negative breast cancer and ovarian cancer.
