Overview

AMS-3 is a preclinical monoclonal antibody developed by ZIP Zinc Therapeutics in collaboration with Cardiff University. It targets zinc transporter proteins (ZIP family) to inhibit zinc-dependent processes essential for tumor growth, survival, and metastasis. In preclinical studies using triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) xenografts, AMS-3 demonstrated potent anti-tumor activity, resulting in a 97% reduction in tumor growth and complete tumor destruction in 40% of cases. The candidate is being developed for the treatment of various solid tumors, including breast, colon, prostate cancers, and melanoma.
