Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AMX-00z is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody being developed by Amyl Therapeutics for the treatment of systemic amyloidosis. The therapeutic is designed to target and clear multiple types of amyloid deposits, specifically misfolded immunoglobulin light chains (associated with AL amyloidosis) and transthyretin (associated with ATTR amyloidosis). By binding to these misfolded proteins, AMX-00z aims to promote their clearance and mitigate the organ damage caused by amyloid accumulation. The program is currently in the preclinical phase of development.
