AMX160

AMX160 is a standardized botanical extract derived from the fresh fruit of Indian Gooseberry (*Phyllanthus emblica* L., also known as *Emblica officinalis*). Developed by Arjuna Natural, it is primarily investigated for the management of hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia. The extract is characterized by a high concentration of bioactive polyphenols and flavonoids. Its mechanism of action involves the inhibition of hepatic 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase, the rate-limiting enzyme in cholesterol biosynthesis, which leads to a reduction in total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides.
