Drug intelligence / Profile preview
nailKALM is a topical treatment for fungal nail infections (onychomycosis) developed by Lacorium Health. Its active ingredient is AMYCOT, a proprietary bioactive extract derived from the cyanobacterium Arthrospira maxima (Spirulina). AMYCOT contains high concentrations of proteins, vitamins, and minerals, and is reported to possess antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. It works by creating an environment hostile to fungal growth and supporting the regeneration of healthy nail tissue. Unlike many synthetic antifungals, it is marketed as a natural, non-toxic alternative and is typically formulated as a topical solution for direct application to the affected nail and surrounding skin.
