AMYL-00x

AMYL-00x is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody being developed by Amyl Therapeutics for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. It is part of the company's Pan-Amyloid Immunotherapy (PAI) platform, which utilizes antibodies engineered to recognize the cross-β sheet conformation inherent to all amyloid aggregates, regardless of the constituent protein. AMYL-00x specifically targets misfolded aggregates of α-synuclein and Tau, facilitating their clearance from the central nervous system. The candidate is designed for optimized brain penetration and a safety profile that avoids the risk of amyloid-related imaging abnormalities (ARIA).
